Ingredients: (use organic ingredients if possible)

2 Cups of Filtered Water (for boiling)
5 Cups of Filtered Water (to add to jar with the rest of the ingredients)
1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 Bunch of Red Beets (about 4 medium size bulbs)

 

Directions:

  • Clean and pill the beets

  • Place the four beets in a medium pot with 2 cups of filtered water and bring to boil.

  • Once the water has boiled, turn the heat down to low and simmer for about 20 minutes.

  • Remove the beets, place them in a glass jar and use them for another beet recipe.

  • Allow the water to completely cool.

  • Once cooled add the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and water.

  • Refrigerate for about an hour.

  • Once cold, serve and enjoy!
