Getting Back to My Workout Regimen

For the last 6 months I’ve been in “business boot camp” if you will. It was great for the mind but not so much for my body. It’s time to get back on the horse and balance that out. I started my Insanity workouts this week. So far, it kicked my butt as expected! However, in the past I didn’t add any weight training to my Insanity workouts. This time around I’ve added an extra 30 minutes of weight training to the end of my workout. It was brutal, but I am glad I did it.

These are my Fitness Test Results…which I will do every 3 weeks or so.

Each exercise is one minute long and those are the total reps completed within that minute.

  • Switch Kicks – 50

  • Power Jacks – 32

  • Power Knees – 65

  • Power Jumps – 11

  • Globe Jumps - 6

  • Suicide Jumps – 10

  • Push Up Jacks – 12

  • Low Plank Oblique – 10

My numbers were higher 6 months ago. This goes to show the important of consistency...NEVER STOP!

I'll be working to rebuild my strength and endurance. Not all is lost though; I believe I can achieve this again…after all, the mind controls the body and I am stong in mind.
