SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS

Ingredients:

 

12 oz. 100% Beef Kielbasa
1 Large Orange Bell Pepper
1 Large Red Bell Pepper
1 Large Yellow Bell Pepper
2 Large Green Bell Pepper
1 Large Yellow Onion
1 Large Red Onion
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
A Pinch Ground Pepper (optional – to taste)
A Pinch Sea Salt (optional – to taste)

 

Directions:

 

  • In a medium-size bowl cut the kielbasa and mix in the olive oil. Mix well and set aside.

  • In another bowl cut both onions – elongated (Julienne style).

  • In a large bowl cut all the bell peppers – elongated. Wash, drain and set aside.

  • Preheat a large pan - medium to high heat.

  • Once the pan is hot enough add the kielbasa and cook them until they are slightly golden brown.

  • Lower heat to medium and add the onions to the pan. Stir well and sauté the onions.

  • Once the onions have a light golden look add in all the bell peppers. Mix well, the peppers should be cooked for about 3 to 5 minutes. They should be hot but crunchy when done.

  • Serve hot and enjoy!
